In response to the current health crisis, many of Canada’s provincial and city governments have announced updates to essential service categories. Office Move Pro operates in several of these categories. Therefore, we will continue to serve workplaces also deemed essential as the COVID-19 situation unfolds.

If your workplace has been closed to the public due to government restrictions, we are here to assist you in any way we can.

Like most organizations, we have been very focused on the health and well-being of our extraordinary team. We are taking all the precautions our provincial governments have outlined to slow, and eventually stop, the spread of the coronavirus. In kind, we ask that you complete a simple screening checklist for your employees who will be present on moving day, and that only those employees deemed essential to your move be on site. This will allow all of us to maintain an appropriate social distance and limit person-to-person interaction.

If you have COVID-19 protocols in effect that you would like us to follow, please provide them in advance. Please complete any cleaning protocols prior to our arrival.

We will work with you to navigate this changing situation and balance what’s best for our teams.

How we’re modifying the way we work:

  • maintaining physical distances of at least 2 metres whenever possible
  • keeping crews small and crew members consistent on each job
  • taking frequent breaks to wash or sanitize hands 
  • rigorously cleaning tools and equipment 
  • enhancing personal protective gear
  • health screening employees
  • health screening clients

We are also restricting travel and providing resources to help our staff connect and work remotely wherever possible so that we can continue to serve you.

To ensure our crews are following the latest recommended health and safety protocols, our team is actively sharing information.

Things are moving quickly, but we are committed to updating you on our health and safety measures during this time. In business and in health we are interdependent.
