Installer

Installers work closely with movers and supervisors on most relocations. The ability to properly dismantle and re-assemble furniture as well as hang pictures and shelving is what completes the look of every office.

Duties

  • Dismantling and assembling of systems and office furniture
  • Some heavy lifting required
  • Relocation of furniture on dollies
  • Relocation of electronics on specially designed carts
  • Relocation of art objects and displays on specially designed carts
  • Follow direction of and report to Site Supervisor

Skills & Abilities

  • A positive attitude
  • A willingness to learn
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Able to read floor plans, drawings etc.
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Able to exercise good judgment and report any deficiencies to Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Installation experience with Steelcase, Teknion, Global, Inscape, Haworth, Herman Miller, HON & KNOLL etc.
  • Valid Driver's License an asset
  • Own your own tools
